Serena wins 7-5 in the 3rd. Heather has given her an almighty scare here, and can take a huge amount of heart and confidence from one of her best performances. To push a player of Serena's quality so close is great for her. Well done Hev, and of course congratulations to Serena for battling through in that 3rd set against an inspired Watson and a vocal crowd.

Several sources have been saying how well Heather's been playing in practice, and if this is a taster of what is to come, then I can't wait.
