Two decent draws there, I expect Toby to come through and Andrew has a great chance to pick up a point. Tough one for Adam though...

Shame my ship doesn't go through to Istanbul tomorrow. Every other Monday we're there, I could have gotten a slice of the action...

Adam and Toby currently getting rather beaten up in Turkey ..... not unexpectedly, given the rankings, for Adam, but a lot more so for Toby....

Adam 2-5
Toby 1-5

NB Where IS your ship this week, Brad? Anywhere nice?

Without knowing anything about young Lucas, that's a disappointing result for Toby:

R1: Toby Martin WR 641 lost to (q) Lucas Catarina (MON) WR 1264, age 18 6-2 6-2

R1: (q) Andrew Watson WR 1435 def. (q) Johan Nikles (SUI) WR 1078, age 18 6-1 6-3

R1: (q) Adam Skalsky WR 1331 lost to (8) MUGEVICIUS, Lukas (LTU) WR 585 6-3 6-1

Very disappointing set of results tbh, although glad to see Andrew marching on.

CD, I'm currently sat in a Starbucks in Lebanon. Tomorrow we're in Larnaca, Cyprus and then we head to Ashdod and Haifa in Israel. Hoping to get to Jerusalem and Nazareth while I'm there. It's the Thomson Spirit, if you're interested.

And to be honest, CD, this website, along with the ITF and ATP sites, are about the only ones I can visit that aren't blocked on the ship's Internet!

Better get comfy, guys. I'm in it for the long haul.

Great to hear your itinerary, Brad.

And SO glad that Thomson Spirit realise the importance of blocking all sites bar tennis ones !

Skalsky and Watson also lost their doubles today, 0&4

Andrew Watson lost 6-0 7-6(4) but that's a really good effort in the second.
