#1 qualifying seed in a 50K just WR 932 with apparently just 4 ranked players so seeds in total !!

At least they've managed one ranked player for each of the 4 qualifying brackets.

1 ranking point for reaching QR2, 3 for the FQR and 5 for qualifying.

The first batch of matches are all playing.

Emma Hurst has taken the first set 6-1 against Amelia Stuart - both women play at Bath University tennis centre, I think, so they must know each other well.

The qualies looks more like a British Tour event but maybe that shows that the BT events are high calibre and should be encouraged ....

Emma is the first over the line and get that ranking point. Well done to her. (Bains was a quick winner too)

Savannah follows too, as well as jazzamay.
