Em really could have done with a bit of luck draw wise this week to try and squeeze into the top 300 for the grass.

Third tough one in a row, the Thai is playing the tennis of her life right now.

Em breaks but broken to 15. Still to save a break point. Only winning 15% of second serve points which is kinda terrible.

3-2*

Loses 60 63 to a very in form player. Serve just wasn't there today to make it at all competitive.

She's had a run of bad draws, unfortunate in these big, relatively weak, events but thats the way it goes. Maybe lady luck will make an appearance for both her and Katy on the grass.

Still got doubles here, again with Mestach.

Oops, Em and ASM make a bit of a mess of their doubles, from 6-2 *2-1, to 6-2 3-6 (the Koreans holding from 0-30 in the final game).

Into the MTB.

0-1*
*2-1
3-2*
*4-3
5-4*
*5-6
6-7*
*7-8
8-9*

Em and Mestach lose a match they were completely dominating, 2-6 6-3 10-8 disbelief

Didn't see that coming (and given the field, was expecting them to reach the final here), not a good result at all. Poor end to a difficult day for Bristol's finest.

Bah. May Emily have an overdue good week in the 25K next week before heading home.

Thanks for all the updates, Paul.

Oh, Em's not happy. She's not the sort to shout "full blatant cheating" without good reason.

Poor thing, that's all she needs right now is to feel a sense of injustice on top of being a bit down in the dumps.
