Looking at the Manchester entries again, there are a few decent singles/doubles players who could still be involved in RG week 2, so I would expect Liam to sneak in automatically. Interesting to see who gets the remaining wildcards for main draw - will Klein get one? I wonder if Evo will turn up for qualifying.

The women's draw at Eastbourne is very sparse. Jo is the only entry so far, no-one(GB wise) has made qualifying. Naomi, Katy, Emily and Mandy might have a sniff of getting into qualifying, but will be relying on wildcards.

Huge number of changes on deadline day at Eastbourne, where the strength of the field seems to have intimidated international entries more than our brave girls.

JoKo is still the only DA. But the Naomis, a Katy, EWS, Harriet and Tara are all in Qs, with another half-dozen now very high on the Alts list.

Amanda is in Qs for an Italian 50k; Njoze in the Turkish 10k MD, whence Drew and Askew have withdrawn.

I've updated the tables - there are a few new names on the list...

PS Surbiton entry is up - a bit weaker as James, Kyle and Brydan are direct entries(no Kyle again)

Broady 3 out at Manchester with Klein 6 out but plenty of players still involved at RG doubles

Updated again. Dasha withdrawn from Egypt.

Manchester - Broady is 3rd alt, Brydan 6th, but there are quite a few that may well be involved in Wk2 at Paris in one form or another and may be withdrawn

Wildcards for Eastbourne should be known tomorrow. I expect Naomi B, Katy, Harriet and Emily or Tara to claim them unless of course some are playing Paris Wk 2 and Naomi B gets in automatically.

I don't know exactly when and where but I think that Josh Goodall is going to turn up with some wildcard on the UK grass tournaments (presumably in qualies but who knows?)

Is Manchester qualifying a Saturday or Sunday start? Forecast for Sunday is terrible and I was going to go.

Liam now 1st alt, Brydan 3rd alt - expect both to get in directly.

Does that mean they'll give two more WCs if Liam and Brydan get in directly? And to two more Brits ??? smile

probably - Milton (defending champ), Willis and Smethurst (local club) will be in contention.

Interesting. I don't recall Brydan previously getting a WC in this country, although I can quite imagine that I may be wrong.
