Another good looking R1 draw for Heather as long as she doesn't get some sort of clay court ringer.

She can start concerning herself with the little matter of her R2 opponent if and when she gets there.

Alizé doesn't play doubles much, so this is an interesting scratch pairing. About the kindest draw you could reasonably expect at a Premier Mandatory.

Out of interest but debatable importance, Heather is defending 50 doubles ranking points this coming week so probably needs a win to help preserve her top 100 ranking.
