Well, I am pretty sure Wardy is playing here. He tweeted earlier that he was on his way to Barcelona to compete. However, it is now 8.30 pm, with play is due to begin tomorrow in Qualies and yet the draw and OoP are not out yet.

How is a person supposed to decide whether to drive up to Barcelona or not. If Wardy is 1st up tomorrow, I really need to leave this evening. So come on ATP, let's have that draw and OoP please - like NOW.

Finally the draw is out.

QR1: (1) James Ward WR 107 v (WC) Eduard Guell Batrina UNR

Guell Bartrina is a 16yo who has never had a ranking.

The other seed in James' section is in form Futures player Rui Machado who is former Top 60.

So you get more points for qualifying for a 32 player 250 than you do for a 48 draw 500. Great rules. So Wardy needs to win a match in the main draw to gain. At least he avoids the seeds.
