Just got home in time to see Kyle save a SP and hold for 5-5. Vamos.

Get in there. De Schepper yet to take a set off Kyle in two meetings.

Kyle wins 6-4 7-5.

Maybe Kyle is going to follow Andy as a Frenchie-basher.

yes, I noticed all the French players Kyle might have to play. there may be another one next. so it could be 3 - 0

Correct. Benoit Paire is his likely next opponent, who I think will be a lot tougher.  That would be the very same Benoit Paire who "Bob in France" spotted sneaking out of a Big Mac and fries during the Marseille tournament biggrin

But let's be positive and go for a French hat-trick.

Solid performance from Kyle. Kenny's style of play fell into Kyle's hand which was mainly a baseline game and Kyle is very strong from the baseline.
Paire will be a much tougher proposition, he is a top 100 player in reality(I assume he had injuries)

Kyle has very few points to defend until Wimbledon and seems to be playing well at Challenger level.
Could we possibly have 4 men direct acceptees for Wimbledon?

Correct me if I'm wrong but Paire hasn't won yet And that man can be quite temperamental at times (!) - understatement - so I never think of his matches as a foregone conclusion.

And, if he loses, it'll all be due to that Big Mac and fries . . .
