Add: I should link to the whole page considering there's a whole lot more info there including revealing in the 11.06 update document, among other things, that there will be MTBs in ITF qualifying matches https://www.tenniseurope.org/page/35341/Transition-Tour-2019
Thanks for the links.
It's still all pretty impenetratable to me; I still like the previous summary of it, offered in another thread
Maybe the added complexity will be good... ... ... ...
Sharm & Antalya have already indicated that they're unlikely to continue. They offered >100 $15K a year between them.
The landscape is certainly going to change. I think I'll just let it hit and see what happens and try to muddle along picking it up as time goes by, or as other more savvy people can explain it me in due course.
There should be some movement in the rankings over the next few weeks as many of our lower and unranked players take to the courts. There are more than 80 entries by GB players in next week's events, mainly in Woking and Dublin, many won't get in but many will.

Nothing going on this week in the top bit of the table but congrats to:
Beth +36 to 464 (CH)
Fran +26 to 509 (CH)
Lissey +89 to 536 (CH)
Freya +13 to 562
Tiff +108 to 992 (CH)
CD has already provided the highlights but here are this week's rankings in full. We are now down to 31 women with rankings as Laura Deigman drops out, and others will follow in the next few weeks. The overall movement in the top 10 is again negative, this week being -21 altogether and we are just clinging onto that below 200 average by 29 points now. It will be good if there are some upward movers this week amongst the 10. It is also good that in the next cohort down Beth, Fran, to and extent Jodie and Sam, and a bit further behind Lissey are all showing upwards progress, since Laura's ranking is going to continue to fall and she will need replacing in the top ten. It's unfortunate that Maia has rathe stalled at the moment, but maybe in the next year of her development she will also come to grips better with the 25k plus tournaments.
It's congrats to Tiffany too on entering the top 1000 at a CH 992. We dearly need others amongst the lower cohort (apart from Emma R) to show some upwards movement too, as well of course as a few new joiners. To expect this to happen in 25k tournaments is probably a tall order, but the next two weeks will make this clear.
As mentioned in the "Strongest Nation?" thread I'd have no concerns at all about our women's top 10 average slipping back a bit over the last couple of weeks. There have been some points coming off and they almost all haven't been competing since Wimbledon. A well earned little break and the average still stands up very well historically.
Now they will be competing over the next 2 weeks, with relatively little due to drop off and possible significant points to add. I anticipate that top 10 average moving forward again.
Olivia hardly ever plays singles now, concentrating on doubles.
Suzy hasn't played on the tour this year, and had only a few matches (and few wins) in the second half of last year.
And who can tell with Mirabelle !
Just to note that there are 5 CHs this week. Apart from Beth and Fran, as CD has listed, there is also Katie B (114), Lissey Barnett (up 1 to 535) and Tiff Williams (up 6 to 986).
The top 10 is +30-17=+13 this week, the -17 affected mainly by Laura falling a further 14 places. In the week(s) ahead though, those GB #9 and #10 places should finally come under threat by new people however. In the coming week Maia has a chance of breaking into the top 400 for the first time, and is currently just sitting 1 pt and 1 position behind Tara. If Maia can pick up a first round win at Chiswick, she will then move ahead of Tara the following week. Beth and Fran are closing up behind, but will still be in the mid 450s.
Our total number of pro women is also whittling down further. At 31 this week, it is also Emma Hurst's last week on the rankings, so next week we will be 30 women, albeit with Sasha Hill having picked up 7 pts from her fabulous run in Dublin, but still needing a further 3 pts/ 2 counters to gain a ranking.
When do openerarankings update? Both are showing as if it were still last week.
Later in the day, Helen. I think they are American run sites, ie so they are first updated more around the beginning of a working day there. I usually find the next week's rankings start to show during our Monday pm. On the site they do give you an option to look one or more weeks ahead, so if you go to 13 Aug (ie one week ahead), you can already see for next week, that's what I used to make the comment about Maia's ranking next week.
Ah thanks, I noticed the 'late' update last week too, so was wondering. They hadn't updated Katie B's qualifying points at all, so she wasn't showing her new LR of 104.
