These 9 combined senior and junior titles are the most from any week since at least the start of 2017.

The previous week 42 equalled a number of weeks where we have won 8, and we did have a shot at a 9th that week after we got to 8.

The 6 senior titles equals the record of senior titles over that period, equaling week 33 of this year.

Some may say that most of these 9 titles are doubles titles ( 5 senior and 1 junior ), but 2 very big doubles titles in there.

After the relative flood of titles over the previous three weeks Shrewsbury recovered from Terrible Tuesday to provide our two titles of Week 45.

So there has still been at least one GB senior or junior title won in every week of 2018 so far.

All 49 weeks this year have produced at least one British winner.

Probably will have to come from EWS+ in India if we are to have a Week 50 title winner. All the best to our remaining entrants this week.

I'm going to go for Soumeya and Anna P in the doubles in Italy.
But as you say, c'mon everyone - we need a title!

Good shout. I had missed them and they are 2nd seeds with a bye to the QF, a match due today, and an alternative to my thought was rather needed. Err, sorry Em
