Don't really know where to put this but anyone know what has happened with Steven? @gbtennis on twitter hasn't been updated since 8th July.
I was wondering the same thing as I've missed him. I know he's been living in the States for a while but he's still been tweeting intermittently until recently. I do hope he's ok.
He has a pinned tweet from July 8th and obviously hasnt been active since travelling back. Out of interest, what is Steven's full name?
Pinned
Steven
@GBtennis
My trip back to the UK begins tomorrow and I should be back in London (for the first time for 11 months) in a few days' time. Good luck to all Brits still playing - I'll round up the most significant results from doubles / juniors / wheelchair and ITFs at the end of next week.
Swapped messages with Steven tonight. He is fine but busy. Will post more in the morning.
Good stuff - not sure if anyone noticed, TA and I have been expressing concern re Miriam as well, keep her in your minds. It doesnt feel quite right. We need her back in time for the US Open wins prediction contest.
As mentioned above, I messaged Steven last night just to check he was OK. He told me that having got back to his house in England for the first time in 11 months, there was an awful lot to do relating to the house and he is extremely busy. His exact words were 'something had to give', and it was his social media work that took the back seat.
But the important thing is that he is fine and will no doubt be back on the tennis trail in due course.
I see Steven tweeted last night about an esoteric tennis issue, so hopefully we'll be hearing more from him soon.
GBtennis: @pavyg Been out of the loop for a few weeks so not sure of the context of the question but only twice in ATP singles events, both long ago - Carraz defeated him 7-6(0) 6-7(7) 6-2 in Queens qualifying in 2005 then Youzhny beat him 6-4 4-6 7-6(0) in R1 at Marseille ATP in 2007.
