RE: The battle to be British number one 2006

I agree with all you say Niall (although 5 years might be somewhat excessive... some good choaches coming on the market soon.)

I have made another update as sadly Greg's slide has continued and he is now British number three.

Good news for Andy, bad news for Greg. While Andy is pushing his ranking higher Greg is losing points and he has slipped into a battle for British third and fourth spots.

Wondering why this thread is a sticky. There's not much immediate threat to Andy's no.1 spot, and the Boggo / Rusedski battle for 3rd place is not really worthy of stickiness in a 'battlle for no.1' thread is it? i don't have a problem with it being sticky, just idly wondering that's all.

i do like the graphs though... it would be great to see a couple more brits climb high enough to enter the fray.

I've changed the title of the thread now to ranking progress of the top 4 Brits which is probably more reflective of it's content. I really do like the graphs, Niall is a legend with his spreadsheets. It's really great to be able to see that clearly how well each of the top 4 have progressed over the course of the year

I have updated the graph as Henman and Bogdanovic made big gains last week.

I have updated the graph to show the progress of our top players in 2006.

I think it would be a good idea to close this thread now and start a new one for 2007 where I think we will see a lot more progress for our younger players as the old guard slip away.
