I've always felt that, in terms of the basics and raw talent, there's not a fly's wing of difference betwen Tara and Heather.
Alas, the other necessary raw ingredients required for success on the world stage mean that Tara will never come even close. Which is a real pity. I hope we get a few 3-4 month bursts here and there over the next 2-3 years where a sustained period of giving it everything on and off the court pays dividends, but history suggests that Tara won't sustain it.
An easy win, but it hides the same doubts about Tara's serving since her injury.
9 DF in 5 service games, and broken twice, by this opponent, at this level; somewhat inauspicious.
R1: Tara MOORE (GBR) [5] 318 defeated (Q) Qiu Yu YE (CHN) 741 6-0 6-2
R2: Tara MOORE (GBR) [5] 318 vs. Kyoko Okamura (JPN) 568 (= CH)
She's just appointed a new team to help her so it's going to take a while to see some real results on the serving front. She served 20 odd in a two setter the other week I'm sure!
I'm expecting a bounce back from Tara this year, she knows 2014 was horrendous, and that time is running out, so I'm guessing that she will be near the top 200 mark by the end of the year. When Tara has her back to the wall, she has a tendency to start working harder and show her best tennis on court.

Any more info? Is she still working with Jane or have the LTA pulled that funding?
I'll be honest paulisi, I saw a picture of her saying something about a new team with them but I honestly can't remember where I saw it or where I found it, sorry.
