James Allemby UNR

After 112 weeks of "Copy & Pastes", you are actually going to have to type something different next tournament biggrin

LOL it's easier to type it than to find somewhere to copy and paste from, but yes, it'll be fun to change that bit at last

I had a bad feeling about Marzi's match when I saw Nagal's junior ranking - not a nice QR1 opponent when you've been struggling a bit. The other GB seeds are safely through to the FQR and James went very close to causing an upset:

QR1: (q4) James Marsalek WR 945 lost to Sumit Nagal (IND) UNR (CH 1668 in Jan; 17yo world junior no. 43) by 7-6(5) 6-3
QR1: James Allemby UNR lost to (q5) Jelle Sels (NED) WR 955 (CH 952 last month) by 6-3 4-6 7-5
QR1: David Parry UNR lost to (q9) Sander Arends (NED) WR 1126 (CH 1103 last month) by 2 & 5
QR1: (q13) Adam Skalsky WR 1312 beat (wc) Abdulla al Mohamoud (QAT) UNR (18yo) by 0 & 0
QR1: (q10) Scott Clayton WR 1127 beat Martim Vilela (POR) UNR (16yo) by 2 & 1

FQR: (q13) Adam Skalsky WR 1312 v (q7) Giorgio Portaluri (ITA) WR 1002 (CH 715 in 2011)
FQR: (q10) Scott Clayton WR 1127 v (q8) Adam Chadaj (POL) WR 1108 (CH 202 in 2005) *

* H2H 0-1 - Chadaj came from a bagel down to beat Scott in 3 in Bath last month

Just remembered that in Bath, Scott lost to Chadaj (the player he beat in the FQR today) in R2 after upsetting Sam Barry in R1 - this time, he is getting them in reverse order!

No Dan Cox - sort of expected that judging by his tweets, but a bit odd to travel all that way for 1 week.

Luke's original opponent, the no. 3 seed, got replaced by aptly-named lucky loser "Filin" but Luke is a set down 4-6 1-0*

L32: Luke Bambridge WR 538 v (LL) Pavel Filin (BLR) WR 1953 (CH 887 in 2013)
