Somewhat surprisingly, given that he normally seems to play only with Propoggia, Brydan has teamed up with Dave in the doubles:

R1:  (1) Brydan Klein & Dave Rice CR 428 (212+216) vs BYE

They will face one or other of an unranked Thai pair in the quarters.

Presumably the local umpires don't have a problem calling out the names of the local players, though they'd be a nighmare for anyone else...! disbelief  The Thais dumped out the fourth seeds (Tanasugarn & Udomsuk, CR 2537) by 3 & 2 in the first round, but Dave & Brydan must be a cut above...
