Naomi: "I won my match today 2n3 against a tricky little player. Need to play better tomorrow though. A girl playing today managed to swear at the umpire several times, stick her middle finger up at him, smack a ball straight at his head......get a code violation for racket abuse, a code for her mother interfering, a point deduction for ball abuse...... And still managed to win without getting defaulted!"

Great result for Jazzamay Drew and Stadler, winning their doubles QF, against the third seeds, 6-3 3-6 10-8 :)

Naomi was twice a break up in that first set, served for it, and had a SP on her opponent's serve. But lost the set 5-7 :(

Now a break up again in the second . . but 0-40 down . .

That's actually the first time Naomi has gone out of a 10K before the semi-finals since she lost 6-4 in the 3rd to the then Georgie Stoop in the Nottingham 10K QFs back in September 2006!
