The main draw is out but the qualifiers have not been placed yet because there are still some FQR matches to be played tomorrow. Matt may well end up playing his R1 match tomorrow though, he just won't know his opponent very far in advance.

Matt lost the second set by 2-6, at which point play appears to have been suspended & will resume tomorrow, first match on Court 5.

L16: (Q) Matthew Short WR 1143 v Leonardo Tavares (POR) WR 839 (CH 186 in 2010) - due to be played today 'after rest'

Tavares has been winning lots of Futures matches since coming back in late September after 6 months out and he beat the 3rd seed in R1 here but Matt did beat him 3 & 2 in Faro last year only to lose to him in 3 sets in Guimarães the following week.
