Must be so frustrating for both Naomi and Tara to be playing at levels so much down from what they have shown they can play at and for fairly sustained periods.

I really do hope they can find ways to at least refind these previous levels asap.

L16: Tara Moore WR 302 lost to Aleksandrina Naydenova (BUL) WR 361 (CH 264 in 2013) by 2-6 6-2 7-5

That was my fear - that Tara would beat a fellow-Brit then crash out (sorry, I sound like most of the British media with that, but at least I don't say it when they go out to much nigher-ranked players like much of the media tend to do!) in R2 Who knows whether Naomi would have done any better against Naydenova though.

Hoping both come out firing for 2015. Indeed, Naomi's ranking suggests she's had a very good 2014, even if the successes don't feel that recent.
