Encouraging that all the matches look so competitive after the slowish start.

I'd take paulisi's early in the week 2 semi finalists prediction now and it looks possible.

Returning to her 'evil' old ways Amy completes a hat-trick against Brits this week, defeating Manisha 4 & 4

Some close sets but not a good day for the Brits here, who could go 0-5 in singles unless Dan can recover from a set down against Grigelis:

QF: (8) Manisha Foster WR 672 lost to (4) Amy Bowtell (IRL) WR 487 (CH 449 in 2013) by 4 & 4
QF: Freya Christie WR 900 lost to (Q) Elyne Boeykens (BEL) WR 1254 (CH 472 in 2013) by 4 & 5

None past the QF here is a bit dis-spriting.
It wasn't the strongest overall entry list for a $10K.

Well, at least there's still Katie's excellent run, and the seemingly unstoppable Cav to get behind this week.

 I know Paul predicted 2 GB semi finalists, but on seeding it was a par performance, so Okish.

Lucy is in to the doubles final, sensibly teaming up with Amy Bowtell, and thus ensuring not to be another notch on the Irishwoman's considerable 'Brit-Bashing' post.
The pair won 6-4 6-2 against the Belgians.

Harriet's doubles has just begun, a quick chance to exact some small measure of revenge over Reix, *1-2
