Main draw is also out.

Gabb v Gosea and Bambo v O'Mara look the most interesting

Yes, those were the two R1 matches that caught my eye too! In fact, I think Richard would have been the 8th seed if Farris hadn't overtaken him in the rankings last Monday!

George was 6-0 3-0 down to Grigelis but he's battled back to 4-4 in the second.
Jonny and Luke is in to a decider
James is a set up on Toby
JWH seems to be cruising to victory against Keelan

Scores so far:

Luke and O'Mara living up to expectation (see above) - one set all - 6-3 3-6

James won the first set 6-2 re Toby (who seems to be struggling rather at the moment). On serve in the second.

JWH 6-4 3*-2 v Keelan

The Grig 6-0 5-4* v George M

Add - sorry, Jaffa, we must be on the same wavelength . . .

Jonny beat Bambo.

Not a great week for team Hilts, expected Toby to win that comfortably.

I thought Luke would win. But I had Toby down to lose (his results and scores have been pretty poor recently - not that James' have been all that much better but . . . )

Wonder whether Luke has a personal dislike of poor ol' Bob ? Or is he just keeping him in suspense ?

Mark Hilton is over in the States, isn't he, at the moment?

And Bambo is torturing me by hanging around just outside the Top 500.  Good win for Jonny though. Pleased for him.

Edit

It appears CD has picked up on Luke's attempt to torture me as well.

Jonny has a great chance to put back to back victories together. Rob Carter has hardly played for ages and David O'Hare is a doubles specialist.

O'Hare, Hudson and Adam TB are early breaks up.

Nothing against Luke but Jonny has a had a pretty rotten year and was well overdue a decent win.

Rich hands Farris a 1st set bagel.

ATB has taken the 1st set from Dave R 6-3

I wonder if Farris is ok... It is ridiculously one sided at the moment.

Oli H has just saved (multiple ?) SPs and is back on terms at *5-5 .........

Edit

........ only to get broken again.  5-6*   Mind you, there have been 7 breaks in 11 games so far.

I'd be interested to know from someone who follows US college tennis whether David o'Hare is/was actually a doubles specialist. I know he's played 3 months on the pro-circuit and has had far better doubles results (as has Joe S, but even more marked in David's case).

But was he always a doubles pick for the college team and not a singles pick ? So is he truly a doubles specialist? Or is it just that, on the pro-tour at the 10k/15k level, singles is far harder ? Or is it that three months is too short to deduce anything really useful ?

All told, Jonny will have a very good chance and should be favourite, whichever one wins.

Meanwhile, Dave Rice has taken the second set, Farris is 2-3* down, Oliver Hudson lost the first set, just, but is a break up in the second (lots of breaks though . .. )
