Know I don't think Marcus & Dave would pair but if you think how well Sean & Dave did can't helping thinking that Marcus & Dave could have been significantly stronger .
lewis /Marcus doubles campaign has gone through a serious drought they were until april 2014 winning 2 doubles titles a month
but there pairing up again on a US tour so keeping fingers crossed recover their previous form .
They had set point v colin fleming at nott challenger developing an understanding is critical in doubles and I felt that Marcus & Lewis were getting there but then they had few gaps and lost there momentum .
Marcus has huge potential as a doubles player good brain , great hands , serve but he needs to find the right partner that has complimenting skills and attitudes
i felt david rice was a good option but at the time he was committed to Sean Thornley maybe if he does not rediscover his form with Lewis they could give it a go !

Having seen Marcus play doubles, I tend to agree with A1, untapped potential for sure, great hands I would definitely agree, backed up with a decent serve.
I'm no doubles expert, A1, (by a country mile) but I would point out again that Ed Corrie and Dave Rice just won three back to back doubles titles (at least two at 15K, maybe all three), having NOT played together for several years. Sock and 'Popsicle' won the Grand Slam, having NEVER played together before.
I don't buy off very much on this long-standing partner argument.
And Indiana has a point, if you're only winning 10ks, it doesn't count too much really. If you and Marcus had wanted to focus on doubles (with whoever), then you would have entered far more Challengers.
