The tournament is a fair bit stronger than the previous week's one.

Josh WH seems to have sneaked into the main draw. Alex should be second seed. Luke has pulled out.

Not the best draw :(

JWH and Toby come up against each other in R1 and the winner plays the number 2 seed in round two.

None of them playing the doubles (because they're all leaving this week)

JWH was twice a break up in the first set, and served for the set, but ends up losing the TB to Toby 7-1

Alex looks comfortable - leading 6-1 2-0

Toby is a break up in the second.

Interestingly the winner plays the Portuguese second seed, who keeps bumping into Brits in and losing. (Brydan and Alex in finals and Ashley in QF)

No stream but that seems like an excellent first set from Toby , taking the first set on a tie-break 7-4

Very close. The BPs toby conceded were all in the first game, I think, and none either way from then on.
