RE: Week 40 - Turkey F34 ($10,000) - Antalya (Hard)

Good chance that Richard will get 35 year-old Hernych in the next round - nice to see some of the old timers keep going - but maybe Hernych could have a 'little siesta' though for the next day or two . . .

Marshall is an early break up - would be great to see him continue his good form . .

If only Marshall could hold onto breaks - he did in the 2nd set, of course.

Saito serving for the match, having won the last 4 games (dropping just 5 points) 6-7(1) 6-2 4-5*

Tiebreak time. Can he do it, having never beaten a player ranked this high in an ATP-ranked event before and never made a Futures singles QF before? I hope so!

So close and yet ... Marshall wins more points and more games than Saito but sadly, not the match:

L16: (8) Richard Gabb WR 542 beat Kaichi Uchida (JPN) WR 693 (= CH) by 3 & 2

QF: (8) Richard Gabb WR 542 v (2) Jan Hernych (CZE) WR 290 (CH 59 in 2009)
