Something of a surprise. Perhaps Joss is campaigning/voting?
R1: Anna Smith/Johanna Larsson (GBR/SWE) 234 vs. Annika Beck/Petra Martic (GER/CRO) 275

Anna might have been able to sign in for singles qualifying, depending on when she arrived. Several other doubles specialists took the chance, and there were still spots remaining even then.

Indeed, though if she's no longer based in Scotland I don't know how she'd wangle a vote.

Maybe Jos has picked up a minor niggle or bug and is sitting the week out? Jo-La used to play with Anna on a semi-regular basis back in the day (Anna's Mum is Swedish I think??), so at least this is not a completely unfamiliar pairing for her.

Managed to lose that 62 64. Were twice a break up in the second, and had points for *52, only to get broken from 40-0 and 40-15.
