Ed and Dave have somehow managed to contrive to lose the first set 6-1

They're now 2-0 up in the second though . . .

Barrère is the guy that Jack Carpenter beat 7-5 in the third set back in June in Bulgaria.

He's also currently the sole Main draw foreigner to have signed up for Wrexham - would be nice if dave could disillusion him slightly before he arrived smile

15K + H with the 8th seed in singles WR 623 and the second seed in doubles CR 948 !

Certainly seem to be plenty relatively weak fields around this time.

I don't suppose that Dave is complaining :)

Given that last week at the Spanish 15k+H,
Dave lost in the first round ,
Ed went on to win it and
the two of them took the doubles title;
and so far this week at the French 15k+H
Ed has lost in the first round,
Dave and Ed are on course to win the doubles title
so Dave should, by rights, go on to win the singles.

The logic is flawless !

And Dave is 2*-1 up already :)
