Busy week for the men, very quiet for the women. I'm hoping to get to Wrexham at some stage. Another bumper GB field in UK. Suprising Ed and Dave have not stayed in France and elected for a strong GB 15k. I'm surprised more GB players aren't trying to pick up easier points in non-GB tournaments. Fair play to Hewitt, Gabb and O'Mara

Quebec - is very weak such that Jo will be seeded and Naomi is in main draw mainly due to US Open finishing and three WTA 250k going on

 Jo's had a big ranking drop, so she probably won't be seeded, but certainly a very weak field.

Wrexham is a Brit fest with just one foreigner in the main draw now.

USA 25K is also that weak that Tara is no.3 on acceptance list

PS it is me or are there a lot more Men 15K's than normal across the world?

Fran Stephenson seems to be down for the 50k in St Malo. Currently third/second alt for the qualifiers but should get in.

Lots of withdrawals in Istanbul actually; Ward 6th seed as it stands with players lower than 500 making the MD
