Mirabelle has won the first set 6-1 and is 1*-0 up in the second.

She has a good chance, on paper, to qualify in this 15k.

Haven't seen her for a while but still a big fan of Mirabelle . . . doesn't get mentioned with the other promising GB girls but may well sneak in and surprise people :)

I'm guessing that she is not talked about, as very few have seen her play, she is based overseas and she is on a par with lots of other GB juniors in terms of rankings.

Absolutely, you're quite right, her ranking is nothing to get too excited about.

Maybe it's just wishful thinking - I just reckon she might be on the way up and will sneak up on the outside.

NB Don't know half the players but not a single Q place is against a seed so, in theory, it's got to be a good draw :) (Unless there are unknown nasty surprised . . )
