L32: Harriet Dart WR 743 v (WC) Nozomi Fujioka (JPN) WR 800 (CH 779 in May)
The winner is likely to play the top seed in R2, but given that the top seed is Cadar, that may not be as daunting prospect for Harriet as it sounds. Got to win this match first, of course!

I can't imagine playing in Egypt is pleasant at this time of year, but credit to Harriet who is a tough cookie for getting some decent wins, and collecting points.
Harriet leading 6-4 3-2 - and then she has to retire !
What a shame - could well be something nasty - you'd normally manage to a match from that position if it's a chronic sort of thing - do hope she's OK . . . maybe just fatigue . . . (said hopefully)
Harriet played the doubles on Tuesday, and then retired from the singles on Wednesday but - for the time being at least - still seems to in the doubles and is in today's OoP.
SO maybe just tired, a bit sick i.e. nothing too serious. . . fingers crossed . .
