RE: Week 34 - Turkey F28 ($10,000) - Antalya (Hard)

Aswin is serving for the match, having already had at least one match point on Gómez's serve.

Alex is 0-5 down in the 2nd set but has found some fight, getting 3 break points and taking one of them as Pecotic served for the match!

Aswin completes a career best scalp (first time he has beaten a top 1000 player) against a player he had lost to twice before, though he did win a set against him earlier this year:

L32: (Q) Aswin Lizen WR 1860 beat (6) Juan Sebastián Gómez (COL) WR 616 (CH 474 in 2012) by 1 & 2

L16: (Q) Aswin Lizen WR 1860 v Alexios Halebian (USA) WR 952 (CH 801 in May)

So that's a double dose of Halebian for Aswin! wink

He might have a chance against Halebian, but I notice Alexios took sets off Ed and Dave, so is no mug.

It's been a long set, and it's not over, but Adam TB had just had a set point against the 4th seed and WR 570 or so.

Which he lost.

Now serving for the set . . .

Very good looking effort by Adam. Pity.

But really LIKE final set TBs. ALL tournaments should have them.

Oh, I like them, all right, as in 'yes, you've got to have them' - great suspense and who can wait around for the endless final set that tires out both players so much they lose the next match in 4- mins flat?

Just hate losing them smile

And, in fact, even when we win them, I feel sorry for the other guy confuse
