I've left the rankings as at last week since this is still qualifying but in fact, 18-year-old Haas (junior CH 22 in 2013) jumped to a new career high 490 yesterday after winning a 10K two weeks ago.

Mandy stormed back to 5-3, served for the set, got broken, so will now 'receive' for the set, which often seems to work better for her anyway :)

 

5 mins later: and, to order, Mandy breaks and wins the first set 6-4

Think she used to be number 3 in the ITF junior world rankings

L32: (Q) Amanda Carreras WR 413 v (WC) Antonia Lottner (GER) WR 656 (CH 354 last Sep)

As CD says, Lottner was no. 3 in the junior rankings - it was back in 2012, just before her 16th birthday.

The reason her ranking has not progressed in the last 12 months is a foot injury, which had her on crutches for 4 months (via www.sueddeutsche.de/sport/tennis-hoffnung-antonia-lottner-bis-an-die-schmerzgrenze-1.1971854), and she only played one ITF match between August and April. Last week was her first really good week back - she made a 25K QF.
