Solid so far from Kyle but as yet, he doesn't seem to be timing the ball as well as yesterday. Perhaps that is just down to the quality of opponent, who seems to be attacking Kyle's backhand a lot.

From 2-1, 15-15 on Menendez' serve Kyle lost six points in a row to go 2-2, 0-40 down.

Saves the first two but can't avert the last and Menendez breaks. 2-3*.

Kyle loses the second set 4-6.

Got it back from 40-0 to 40-30 only to miss a forehand at the net with the entire court to aim for. disbelief

Yes, it was a bad miss, but the forehand return he hit to set himself up was huge!  I like his big hitting even though there are slightly too many errors.  I think the outcome of the set could have been different had he not missed a fairly easy overhead that would have given him 2 BPs at 4-2.

Lets see what his fitness is  like, or maybe the issue in recent three setters  is one of concentration/mental fatigue
