I guess it depends on whether they feel ready to dive straight into a string of WTA events or whether they would prefer a warm up tournament at 25K and/or 50K before hitting the high levels again.

Well they have a couple of options, will just depend on whether they want to hit North America for Quebec/high US ITFs or jump in for the Asian Swing WTAs.

They could start with the WTA 125 in China too, rather than the Internationals that week.

All the WTA events the first week after the US Open are very, very weak.
