From the youtube link that Josh posted, with the interview with Marcus W and Gary Lewis, Matt Short was seemingly a hero in their national Aegon team win this weekend, so he may well have a niggle or just be dog-tired.

Hope he's up and raring to go after a few days' rest.

Yes he seems to have won all 6 (3 singles, 3 doubles with Marcus) of his matches over the weekend so maybe was a little knackered.
