Week 27 - Bulgaria F4 ($10,000) - Plovdiv (clay)

Well, it had to happen some time, I guess - Jack due to play Samm in the second round of qualis (if Samm wins round one)

Q1:  Jack Carpenter WR 1229 - BYE

Q1:  Samm Butler WR 2054 v (wc) Tzvetan Mihov (BUL) UNR CH 934 in 2010

Q1:  Andrew Bettles UNR v Velislav Cholakov (BUL) UNR age 16

And if Andy wins, he plays the guy Samm got in the first round of the main draw this week, Tarpov, and beat in three sets.

L32: (Q) Andrew Bettles UNR v Nerman Fatic (BIH) WR 881 (CH 794 in May)
L32: (Q) Jack Carpenter WR 1229 v (3/WC) Dimitar Kuzmanov (BUL) WR 484 (CH 428 last Oct)

Jack v Kuzmanov H2H: 1-0 - Jack won from a set down (3-6 6-0 6-2) last week.

Fatic is the player Jack beat in the Final two weeks ago, a tough opener for Andrew.

Jack was 3-1 up in the 2nd but then lost 5 games in a row. So they are into a decider.

A hold for Jack to start the set. 1-0*

Jack now has an early break in the decider at *2-0.

But "serve" doesn't seem like a good indicator with almost as many breaks as holds. And as I type, Kuzmanov breaks back. Jack leads 2-1*

Looking at the serving stats, combined they are Aces - 0, DFs - 16 (8 each)
