Jonny Marray was meant to be play here with Paul Hanley but they have withdrawn. Jonny has a calf injury but hopes to be fit for the grass season.

Bit of a Brit fest late afternoon tomorrow. Colin/Ross 3rd on Court 11, Ken/Michael 4th on Court 10, Bradley/Neal 4th on Court 16, Jamie/John 4th on Court 17.

They split so they had a better chance of making it in. As it turned out they would have made it, but only as a last minute alternate like how Neal got in today.

Hmmm. Mr Klahn is deep into a 5 set match with M Axon. He's either going to be well warmed up for the doubles or completely shattered.

Excuse my ignorance, but GS have funny rules for doubles. Best of 3 or 5 sets?

Colin and Ross have started. Awkward match.

They're not consistent in GS. For RG, it's three.

And alas, they lost. Will wait for full round-up to do all scores. In the meantime, Murray and Peers look quite dominant in the first set (5-1); Klahn and (N) Skuspski doing well so far, 4-3 on serve against Gabashvili and Kukushkin.

PS: Spare a thought for Nicolas Mahut and Michael Llodra - the latter of whom is apparently injured, when they are defending finalist points and have a very nasty draw. (Yes, I know, they're not GB players ...  but Mahut is sort of a semi-Brit because of his associations with Wimbledon and grass courts, no?)

I should never have said anything. Murray and Peers, having won the first set 6-1, are down 2-4 in the second. And Messrs Klahn and Skupski lost the tie-breaker 7-5. Off to dinner ... maybe things will look up now!
