The good news - all 3 Brits play unranked qualifying wild cards (2 of whom have never played on the ITF pro or junior circuits before) in their first matches ...
QR1: Lewis Burton WR 795 v (wc) Manuel Guinard (FRA) UNR
QR2: (q2) Dave Rice WR 287 v (wc) Loeiz Briand (FRA) UNR QR2: (q5) Marcus Willis WR 385 v (wc) Louis Fouilleux (FRA) UNR QR2: Burton or Guinard v (q7) Dominic Meffert (GER) WR 391 (CH 161 in 2012)
The bad news - the winners of Marcus and Dave's matches will meet in the FQR

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
As these players have no ITF track record, just to give a bit of perspective . . .
In their domestic 2014 results sheet (which starts Nov 2013), they are as follows, in order:
Guinard - born 1995 - ranking -2/6 (pretty reasonable, about 3QR 10k level) - 36 matches, 17 wins, 3 'good' wins (to someone ranked higher). This could well be tricky for Lewis.
Loeiz - born 1996 - ranking 4/6 - (nowhere near 10k quali level, more like British Tour quali level) 22 defeats - 5 wins - (Dave, if you give him more than 2 games, there will be questions)
Fouilleux - born 1995 - ranking 5/6 - (even lower than Loeiz) - 7 mediocre victories, 9 pretty poor losses (Marcus, sweets and baby are the two words that come to mind).
Certainly Dave or Marcus should be qualifying. I am afraid though I doubt it's anything like 50/50 with Lewis with the above and a potential FQR against possibly a top 4 qualifying seed or at least probably another player ranked higher than him. Be great if he overcame the odds though.
