Week 13 - Turkey F9 ($10,000) - Antalya - Belconti (Hard)

Tom Farquharson and James Marsalek should be in the main draw here. Miles starts off with some pretty bad instant coffee (igmc!)

QR1: (q12) Miles Bugby WR 1383 v Andrei Crapcenco (ROU) UNR (junior WR 1427)

QR2: Jack Carpenter WR 838 v Altug Celikbilek (TUR) WR 2062 (CH 2041 in Jan; junior WR 576) or Nikita Kardivar (USA) WR 2149 (CH 1698 in Jun)
QR2: Bugby or Crapcenco v Aykhan Manafli (AZE) UNR (15yo junior WR 1272) or Joan Tsonev (BUL) UNR

Unfortunately. the winners of those two QR2 matches will meet in the FQR.

QR1: (q12) Miles Bugby WR 1383 beat Andrei Crapcenco (ROU) UNR (junior WR 1427) by 4 & 4

QR2: (q12) Miles Bugby WR 1383 v Joan Tsonev (BUL) UNR

The winner will play Altug Celikbilek (TUR) WR 2062 (CH 2041 in Jan; junior WR 576) in the FQR - it looks like Jack Carpenter has been promoted to the main draw as an alternate - perfect given that both Brits were in the same section

All going wrong for Jack in the 2nd set. He is *0-5 down.

Hope he is conserving energy for a 3rd set decider.

To be fair to Jack he's been struggling for fitness for some time and will need a few weeks to get match sharp.

I'm not sure how fit Tom F is either, but both Tom F and Marzi can do with decent weeks.
