Dan, Ed & Richard should be in the main draw again but with more players turning up in plenty of time for the following week's Challenger (including Olivier Rochus beefing up the Belgian contingent), they are likely to be seeded lower than this week - and if wild cards go to high-ranked players again, they might not be seeded at all, making it even more of a good thing that they are making hay while the sun shines this week!
QR2: Daniel Manlow UNR v Jérôme Desrosiers (CAN) UNR
This is the Canadian's first ITF Pro Circuit match, though he has played (and lost) once on the ITF junior circuit.

He's also got a match in the doubles, playing with Anderson Reed from the US. Dan S and Ed together as per usual, number one seeds. Richard not playing dubs this time seemingly.
Surprise, surprise! Ed & Dan top seeds again in the doubles:
R1: (1) Ed Corrie & Dan Smethurst CR 581 (317+264) vs Hugo di Feo & Luís Patino (CAN/MEX) CR 1401 (545+856) R1: Daniel Manlow & Anderson Reed (USA) UNR vs (4) Tom Kocevar-Desman & Torsten Wietoska (SLO/GER) CR 1336 (786+550)
L32: (8) Richard Gabb WR 430 v (WC) Raheel Manji (CAN) UNR (16yo junior WR 886)
L32: (Q) Daniel Manlow UNR v (5) Filip Peliwo (CAN) WR 271 (CH 245 in Nov)
L32: (6) Dan Smethurst WR 305 v Nikita Kryvonos (USA) WR 900 (CH 389 in 2007)
L32: (7) Ed Corrie WR 329 v Dean O'Brien (RSA) WR 510 (CH 509 in Feb)
A nasty draw for Daniel but probably a good thing that Rochus and Peliwo are the seeded in the same quarter, away from the three GB seeds.

You should have given O'Brien a mention in dispatches as well, Steven. Unless Ed pulls off yet another of his famous great escapes, he'll be out of the singles on his ear: 5-7 (after being up a break) 1-2*.
