How many can you name?

British Tennis persuaded a lot of the players at Preston to hold up a certificate for world tennis day.

How many can you name?

I've only got six so far, but only with a quick look. Should get more later.

Not sure why Bruce is wearing a top with "JW" on it! LOL

Anyway, I vaguely recognised a few of the non-Brits through looking up CH / H2H details over the years but didn't want to post until I had had time to do a quick check. Not that this means they are certain to be correct, I hasten to add!

I think the women are as follows, going by row and also using paulisi's numbering system:

Top row

1. Angelique van der Meet (NED) - this is the one I am least sure of, for some reason lots of tennis players look a bit like this!
2. Myrtille Georges (FRA)
3. Anna Smith
4. Amandine Hesse (FRA)
5. Beth Askew
6. Carolin Daniels (GER)
7. Lesley Kerkhove (NED)

2nd row

13. Katy Dunne (nice to see her properly entering into the spirit of it! biggrin)
14. Lena-Marie Hofmann (GER)

3rd row

17. Gioia Barbieri (ITA)

Back again, refuelled with dinner ... but still finding the men much harder to place, probably because they tend to be lower-ranked so I haven't seen pics of them - no doubt a lot of them don't even have pics on their ITF profiles. Anyway, my guesses:

2nd row

8. David Porter
9. Clay Crawford
10. Bobbie de Goeijen (NED)
11. no idea
12. no idea (even though he has quite a distinctive face!)

3rd row

15. Seb Jackson
16. Raphael Stucker (SUI)

4th row

18. Jonny O'Mara
19. Marc Ferrigno (DEN)
20. Conor MacDonald
21. no idea
22. Sam Hutt
23. One of the Griekspoors
24. Adam Skalsky

5th row

25. Jesper Brunström (SWE)
26. George Morgan
27. Nic Rosenzweig (FRA)
28. no idea
29. no idea
30. James Keighley / no idea
31. Bruce Strachan

7 is definitely the dutch lady and not Tara Moore !! Having stayed at the same hotel during the Fed Cup, and seen her many times during that spell that is without doubt her.
