That point to win the second set was unbelievable. Amazing defence from off the court from Ukraine when Jocelyn was trying to pick it off at the net, their lob landed on the baseline but Anna did a great recovery lob running back and then Anna bravely came to the net and won the point with some amazing pick ups.

Overall I thought it was such an exciting match. Never count Jocelyn and Anna out, countless times I've seen the come from nowhere to win.

Unbelievable. What fight. What heart.

They looked out of it abd I had written them off. How brilliantly wrong I was :D

It was 0-3 at the time and I don't think anyone was feeling optimistic. I did managed to sneak a look on my phone just before the meeting started and saw we had got it back on serve - but still very pleasantly surprised (to say the least) to read about such a fantasic turnaround.

It sounds like the second set even beat the first set for drama. I caught up on the result by reading through the posts in order too so thanks to all the posts I got to feel the drama including saving match point, even if in a very condensed form.

There is a short video on British Tennis twitter - interview with Judy - but look out for Heather bouncing around in the background! twitter.com/BritishTennis

Didn't expect to get off the train to this. Excellent news, and great turnaround from yesterday!

Not much happening on this thread then ;)
I think we've found ourselves a half decent doubles pairing ;)
Jo played well just spectacularly well, so happy for her, after all her setbacks.
Hev somehow dug out a win, not playing at her best, which was just showed how much heart and mental strength she has.
Then when we seemed down and out in the 2nd set of the doubles we dug ourselves out of a hole playing doubles of the highest quality.
I now need to go for an early night, completely exhausted. Tomorrow will be tough, but who knows anything is possible for this team.

I was pulling your leg, Tony, as my remark immediately before yours was equally pessimistic; perhaps we need to gang up on Belarus by being really pessimistic about GB's chances tomorrow smile
