sams adopted hometown tourney should provide some inspiration (tho this is where she blew a big lead against sam crawford last year)

3 more holds of serve leave Sam serving to stay in the match. She goes from 15-30 to 40-30 but then double faults on game point. Another game point goes begging and now Elie has a match point, which Sam saves. Another game point follows but then it's back to deuce again. 4th game point - converted

A DF from Elie to start the next game and Sam then wins the next point too for 0-30. Elie pulls one back but Sam wins the next to bring up 2 bps and converts the first one.

She has already been a break up twice in this set only to get broken back immediately. Will it be 3rd time lucky to win her the set?

hoping this is a sign shes calmed down ands getting to grip with her game rust and cobwebs blown away
