Ed into a tiebreak first set with no breaks so far

Just looking at Ed's section of the draw, its terrible! Not only is he in the same quarter as the top seed, but he'll play Sergei Bubka in round 2 and Fabrice Martin is also a dangerous floater in there

Ed creates the first BPs of the match at 15-40 and converts on the second one.

He will now serve for the match at *5-3

Wasn't it the same Sergei Bubka who fell out of a top floor apartment window last year? Ex BF of Azarenka and son of.......err.......Sergei Bubka!?

Ed just started. 2 aces to Bubka in the first game but he still had to save a break point.

Ed has now had 3 break points but hasn't managed to take any of them.

Bubka's first break point of the match gave him set point. Fortunately that one was saved too!

5-5*

Ed gets a 4th break point, takes it and then holds for the set 7-5

Ed down *0-3 in the second. Had two chances to break back in the last game but Bubka saved them. Come on Ed.

Had three more break points, Bubka saves two, but not the third. Ed holds to 15 back on serve. 3-3*
