It is such a difficult disorder to have and is often an overlooked mental illness. Respect to Mardy for that and hopefully helping to raise the profile.
Wasn't sure where best to put this, but here seems like as good a place as any. There is a really good article on the BBC website about James McGee and his qualification for MD in the US Open.
Bellis (Katie Swan's friend and playing partner) has just taken the first set 6-1 off Cibulkova too (although I guess Dominka isn't finished yet . . )
And a little mention too for Estrella Burgos who, at age 34, is the oldest person to make their debut at a Grand Slam - and has won ! And the first Dominican player (born and bred Dominican too). And was barely playing professional tennis for a chunk of his twenties but was just working as a coach. Makes you smile.
Very good from Coric, it will be interesting to see how he follows up.
Yes, I'd seen Rosol won the title last week and certainly not always, but invariably, such players seem to give poor performances in immediately following Slams. I am sure I have not been the only one caught out by the demise of "in form" players in Slam prediction contests.
