Following Federer's achievement, the BBC have a quiz for you. Name the 20 players that have beaten Fed in a final.

Quiz is here with suitable clues for dates and nationalities.

www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/46046652

Enjoy

PS. A paltry 12/20 for BiS.

I got the same Bob. If I'd realised at the start that there was a description of the players below I think I might have managed 1 or 2 more!

Same here although I mistyped one christian name that was then marked wrong and ran out of time whilst putting in one other. Looking at the answers I don't think more time would have helped me guess the rest. Fun quiz though.

11/20.

Bah, lost time by my autocorrect changing some names.

And I was so likely going to get many more - not. Looked like just one or two more with a little more time.

12. Would have been 13 if I could spell the Argentinian.

Hint for the unwary - surnames only will do.

Took two guesses for the American - I went for the wrong one first.

Somehow got 15 but completely blanked on the Germans and also the Czech and Argentine from 2007, although it is obvious now I see the answers!

I wish I had gone down to Murcia today after all, even if only to see the young talent that is Carlos Alcaraz Garfi - just 15 years old. He is into the 3rd round of a Challenger having just taken out the 5th seed, Pedro Martinez WR 140.

Here is a few hotshots from young Carlos.

Big crowd too. For those that remember my old match reports, this was the court where I saw Kyle lose to Carballes Baena in 3 sets about 5 years ago. Was it really that long ago ?

Dayana Yastremska.

It's been a slow few months by her standards, but she has just won her 3rd WTA title in the past 7 months and one of very few players on either tour to win 2 in 2019 - she just turned 19 10 days ago as well.

3 hour battle in the Strasbourg final today with Caroline Garcia where she had previous match point(s) and had to save one, before winning in a deciding set tie break.

I knew she was good, but I wasn't expecting her to have made this much of an impact already when I saw her at Ilkley 11 months ago. She's up to a career high of 32, but has left it too late to be a seed and has inevitably drawn a seed in the first round.

I'm just pleased Konta avoided her in the draw.
