Borna Coric

In what I think is the very last men's match of the 2013 season, young Borna Coric caps a stellar year by winning the Turkey F51 title. This will put him on the verge of the top 300, with a 12 month rankings rise of approx 1000 places, all of which can be added to his win in the US Open Juniors.  And he only turned 17 last month.  What a talent.  And from what I saw in Umag, what a great kid as well.

We really do need to work on getting him a UK passport.  Ojala.

As "The Pub Landlord" would say, it's a lovely British name, so what are the Authorities waiting for? UK passport here we come!

Seem to remember an article in The Telegraph a little while ago about how much he enjoyed his training base at Northwood

With him and Vekic, the future looks very bright for Croatian tennis, doesn't it? Both trained in England as well.

The other day I watched YouTube footage of Josh Sapwell beating him in the Orange Bowl u14 final. Quite a difference in fortunes since.
