With Oli seemingly now out, Liam, Luke and Toby should be in the main draw and there are four Brits in qualifying:
QR1: Paul Monczakowski UNR v Conrad Mascarenhas (IND) UNR QR1: (q3) Scott Clayton WR 1269 v Abdulla al-Jufairi (QAT) UNR QR1: (q6) Evan Hoyt WR 1423 v Ahmed al Ali (QAT) UNR QR1: Jack Oswald UNR v (q9) Jonathan Kanar (FRA) WR 2066

He's a 15-year-old with an LTA rating of 5.1 playing his first Futures event. He has only played two ITF junior events, both in Portugal in August, losing 1 & 3 and 1 & 0 in singles and getting double bagelled in doubles, so even though we don't know anything about his opponent, this would be quite a win for him if he can pull it off.

FQR: (q3) Scott Clayton WR 1269 beat Amir el-Bayoumy (EGY) UNR by 7-6(5) 6-1 FQR: (q6) Evan Hoyt WR 1423 beat Ameur Ben Hassen (TUN) UNR by 1 & 2
L32: (Q) Scott Clayton WR 1214 v (6) Tihomir Grozdanov (BUL) WR 453 (CH 443 in Sep) - H2H 0-1, title last week L32: (8) Liam Broady WR 471 v (Q) Niels Lootsma (NED) WR 1603 (CH 1595 in Jun) L32: (Q) Evan Hoyt WR 1320 v Tom Schonenberg (GER) WR 683 (= CH) L32: Toby Martin WR 886 v (WC) Abdulla al Mohamoud (QAT) UNR L32: Luke Bambridge WR 758 v (2) Roberto Ortega-Olmedo (ESP) WR 346 (CH 345 last week)
Scott gets another go at the player who edged him 7-5 in the 3rd in R2 last week and it's not like Luke to draw a top 2 seed, is it. Oh wait ...
On the other hand, Toby's opponent's six singles matches on the ITF pro circuit this year have seen him get double bagelled 3 times, lose 1 & 1 twice and 0 & 1 once.
Edit: Grozdanov won the QAT F4 title today; also, new rankings now edited into the main draw list
