If Ed wins the title here, his total will go up to 157 points, and that means a ranking around the 280 mark.
It's possible that 280 will get him into the AO qualies, but he'll not get to know about it till the final week before the tournament, so he may not want to risk it (like Evo last year, who would have made it, but decided against going to Australia).
Play has already been cancelled for the day and Ed is now due to play his R2 match at 08.00 GMT tomorrow.
Should be ok the rest of the week though - apparently it only rains on Wednesdays LOL (the forecast shows rain today, rain next Wednesday and none in between)

L16: (3) Ed Corrie WR 309 beat (Q) Mario Haider-Maurer (AUT) WR 958 (CH 774 in Aug) by 1 & 2
QF: (3) Ed Corrie WR 309 v (5) Dennis Novak (AUT) WR 372 (CH 365 in Nov)
Novak has already played two Brits this year, with interesting results - in January, Harry Meehan upset him in Stuttgart but in August, he beat Oli in a Futures final in Wels, Austria.
