Doesn't seem to be a thread for this anywhere, so ...
In this year's Winter edition, the "news story" seems to be Team Surrey, which is playing in division 2A and beat its opponents by 9-0. Not surprising, given that its team includes Mel South, Stephanie Cornish, Vicky Brook, Jasmine Amber Asghar, etc. Only one match went to three sets, and there were eight sets that were either bagels or breadsticks. Quite a team.
Surrey have won 9-0 yet again. and Herts. look like winning division one.
And although it's not the 'women's' tour, well done to Rob Carter who took a set off Bedene and to Jack Carpenter who clocked up two good victories - beating Smethurst and Carter.
