Week 45 - Greece F18 ($10,000) - Heraklion (Hard)

L32: Luke Bambridge 863 v (Q) Vaclav Safranek (CZE) WR 941 (= CH, top 20 junior in early 2012)
L32: Oli Golding WR 577 v Tyler Hochwalt (USA) WR 532 (= CH)

Safranek's ranking will rise again next Monday because he reached the QFs last week. However, Luke beat him 1 & 4 at junior Wimbledon last year.

Don't think this got posted before but here's an interview with Luke and George after their doubles win.

Luke says he's in Greece for two futures, then a week off then three weeks in Qatar.

Ha, so it's Luke BAMM bridge rather than Luke BAME bridge is it or is that just this interviewer ?

I know folk have talked about Luke's belief / confidence before ( as I believe he has himself ) but I'm always a bit concerned about George when I see him. Maybe he hides that terrier within him !

I'd never even considered it might be the latter LOL (though now you mention is, I suppose Cambridge is pronounced that way) - I've only ever heard it pronounced Bamm- and the "Bambo" nickname seems to confirm that as well.

hi guys i have to do a survey about social media for one of my courses at university and was hoping it would be ok to post the questions here as it would get the most views then people would send me a pm with their replies so the thread wouldn't be too clogged up with none tennis related material! though it would be best to ask 1st before posting

Unless there's a particular reason to think it belongs on a particular tournament thread, feel free to set up a new thread for it in the general section - that way it won't get lost in a thread too quickly and the thread itself will drop off quickly enough once it is no longer relevant. Hopefully as a regular here, you'll get plenty of people happy to help.
