Unfortunately Prodon had to retire from the final against Sekou Bangoura. Hopefully it's nothing too serious and he'll be back in 2014.
Speaking of veterans, Víctor Estrella has managed to win the 125K in Bogotá without dropping a set, and that includes a guy who has beaten Nadal on clay this year. This also takes him inside the top 150 for the first time in his life, and there can't be too many people who can claim to have played their best tennis at this age.
He wasn't even playing regularly till the age of 25/26, and on his 27th birthday, he could have boasted of a career high of... 426. But now it's not unthinkable that he could make it to the top 100, since he doesn't defend anything before March, and just 36 points in the first 6 months combined. Two clay Challenger titles, and Roberto is his tío.

As Eric Prodon's number one international fan, Salmon, well done to your man whose gone up 711 place this week (!) to WR 972.
A long way off his high of 83 but certainly not someone you'd want to meet in the draw !
When the Niceville points are added, he'll be ranked high enough to get a DE in most Futures. Although I'm not too sure if he's just doing this for fun or if he's actually back to full time touring.
